As a writer, Kris can deliver interesting and informative articles and develop recipes that will tantalize your taste buds. If you have a need or project you’d like to discuss, please email us.

As a freelance photographer, Rick has traveled the West Coast from the California/Mexico border north to British Columbia, seeking out beautiful gardens, picturesque settings, and interesting venues to shoot along the way. Rick’s ability to artistically stylize and shoot a dish in his adjacent studio or in their four-season Mediterranean courtyard garden gives clients an added advantage.

Whether by assignment or through his extensive stock library of film, his images have appeared in over 40 magazines as well as calendars, catalogs, and a number of book publishers, including his newest photographic release from Sterling Publishing, Attracting BIRDS, BUTTERFLIES & Other WINGED WONDERS to Your Backyard.

Rick spent his childhood in Southern California, where he later met his wife, Kris, while majoring in commercial art in college. Now married for let’s just say many, many years, they moved to Oregon in 1991 and settled at "Camelot", their 40-acre country property situated in a valley surrounded by tree-studded hills.

"Rick Wetherbee has been providing high-quality garden and nature images for our magazine for more than two years now. Whether we need an image of a specific plant or animal, or photos of people in the garden, Rick always seems to have just what we're looking for or can shoot it on demand."
